Playing Turbo Sit and Gos
If you are an adrenaline junkie for whom the pace and action of a typical single table sit and go isn’t enough, you may be interested in the turbo sit and go. The turbo sit and go is just like the traditional texas hold em tournaments, except that the play is sped up for a super fast pace.

How Do Turbo Sit and Gos Work?
You can find turbo sit and gos at most major online poker sites, usually under the same tab as the traditional sit and gos. However, the turbots will be clearly marked, and possibly listed in a different color than the full-length sit and gos.

When you start your turbo sit and go, you will discover that the blinds go up much faster, usually every five minutes. In addition, you will only get 15-30 seconds to make your decisions.

How Can You Adjust Your Play for Turbo Sit and Gos?
As you might guess, you need to play faster. You can play your usual game for the first round or two, and in fact, some anxious opponents may overplay their hands in the first couple of rounds, allowing you to gain an advantage going into the higher blind rounds. However, once you get into the third round and beyond, you are going to need to gamble more and play more aggressively before the blinds dominate your stack.

What Types of Players Are Appropriate for Turbo Sit and Gos?
If you are a high-energy player who always needs to be in action when you play poker, turbos are a great option. If waiting around for a minute and a half for an opponent to decide to fold drives you crazy, turbos are for you. Anyone who likes their poker delivered with an instant buzz will enjoy turbo sit and gos.
